Children's Ministry is a department of the church that is devoted to the spiritual development of children.
The Pathfinder Club is a church-centered program for junior youth, ages 10 to 15. Corona SDA Church has one of the most active clubs of the Queens area in New York City. This program provides an outlet for the spirit of adventure and exploration. It includes carefully-tailored activities in outdoor living, nature exploration, crafts, hobbies and other vocations. Examples of Pathfinder activities include camporees, fairs, craft study, nature exploration, Bible study, witnessing projects, field trips, bikeathons, and many other interesting adventures.
The North American Division Adventurer program (http://adventurer-club.com/) serves an intercultural community of children in grades 1-4, their parents, and care-givers through a holistic ministry. The purpose of the program is to support parents and care-givers in leading and encouraging their children in a growing, joyful love relationship with Jesus Christ. It offers an instructional curriculum, family enrichment, supplementary resources, and volunteer training from within the Seventh-day Adventist philosophy. The Adventurer program works to fulfill the gospel commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and depends on the support of a congregation strong in mission and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
